Sorry, not sorry! BAIBA is no longer just a solo force. In Innsbruck based Latvian musician, once known for haunting electro-pop and intimate solo sets, now has a project that pulses with fresh blood—a live drummer brings garage grit and rebellious energy to her atmospheric alt-pop. BAIBA’s music dances on the edge of the personal and the ironic, with sharp lyrics, pulsing beats, and a flair for Nordic melancholy. Currently working on her third studio album Delusional, BAIBA is stepping into a bold new era - raw, cheeky, and a little offbeat in all the right ways.

Well, I burn for all things related to music industry & cultural work.

I am musician & producer, cultural project manager, radio & event host and hobby comedian. I also offer workshops in music production and live performance, as well as radio workshops for audio editing softwares. I am passionate about supporting young artists and musicians on the first steps of their career, with special focus on FLINTA* persons.

For the past 10 years I am curating the cultural program of Die Bäckerei Kulturbackstube, with the aim of creating diverse, engaging and participatory cultural offer to the local community. We offer classical event formats like concerts, readings, exhibitions, discussions, festivals & movie screenings, however a big part of our program consists of participatory events designed to support the creative potential of the community and to question the relation between the 'artist' and the 'audience'. Our participatory events, such as Open Mic Sessions, Comedy Nights, Poetry Slams, Writers' Open Mic and Sing Along Sessions has been the first professional stage to many local performers.

Next to that I am the coordinator of EUREGIO project 'UPLOAD SOUNDS' - a platform to support young musicians, bands & music professionals in Tyrol, South Tyrol and Trentino & am also one of the organizers of ALLES GUTE FESTIVAL in Innsbruck.

I adore being on stage, whether it's moderating an event, having a comedy set or playing a solo concert with my pop project BAIBA. In the last 7 years I have released 2 albums and an EP and have played countless shows in Austria and other parts of Europe. At the moment I am working on a new album, which will be released in May 2026.

I am also a member of MusikBüro Tirol.
